Am I the only one that doesn’t get this film?

I admit that I’m not very familiar with the internet lore connected to this. In fact, I didn’t know that anything related to the concept of Backrooms existed until I started researching the film after my showing.

I think it was fine. I like the idea of another reality existing right under our noses but nothing is really explained. I’m not sure if this is intentional in order to allow the audience to construct their own interpretation or a way to leave the door open for a sequel where this world is more fleshed out.

Based on this film’s box office performance, there will likely be a sequel. I don’t care much either way though.
